The IC Immersive team in Ithaca College’s IT department is offering a free workshop to campus community members talking about the tools that can assist with the creation of immersive experiences. We’ll be reviewing many of the popular technologies (e.g. Google Tour Creator) available to consumers and how they can be applied to making narrative experiences in 360 degrees.

Sara Haefeli, associate professor of music history, was appointed Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Music History Pedagogy in November and has just published her first issue as editor.  The issue includes a special section on teaching information literacy in the music history classroom and a roundtable on using primary sources in the classroom. http://www.ams-net.org/ojs/index.php/jmhp
