Keeling and Associates presented a highly qualified and diverse pool of candidates for the committee to review. After the committee’s thorough review and semi-finalist interviews, we have narrowed the pool to four finalists. The four finalists will be invited to campus during the month of February. As part of the finalist interview schedule that will include meeting with various stakeholders, each candidate will have open campus presentations. All members of the campus community are invited to the open campus presentations to learn more about the finalists. Faculty, staff, and students are welcome to participate. The Center for IDEAS and student organizations all over Ithaca College have been working to make this month one that honors Black History at our institution in an engaging way. Below are events happening on campus, ranging from a student organization-run Talent Showcase to educational sessions on blackness and social justice work. This month's theme is "Mending Our Broken Hearts" 
Timothy Johnson, Professor of Music Theory and department chair, published a book chapter, "Creating a Level Playing Field for Non-music Majors," in Theoretical and Practical Pedagogy of Mathematical Music Theory: Music for Mathematics and Mathematics for Music, From School to Postgraduate Levels, ed. Mariana Montiel and Francisco Gómez (World Scientific 2019).
