Come join Ithaca College Unites For HER! We are an organization that works to raise money to provide complementary services to those diagnosed with breast cancer in the Ithaca College Community! We will be having our second meeting on Tuesday, September 25th in Friends 309 from 7-8pm. During the meeting, we will be skyping with Sue Weldon, the founder of Unite for HER. She will be speaking of her personal experience with complementary therapies that led her to create Unite for HER, to help bridge the gap between the medical and wellness worlds of breast cancer.

Mario Kart Gaming Tournament

All Ithaca College students are welcome to join the Information Technology department on Sunday, September 23rd at 1 pm in the Emerson Suites for a fun afternoon of Mario Kart, free food, Virtual Reality experience, and more.  The champion of the Mario Kart gaming tournament will win a Nintendo Switch!  Over $1,000 in prizes from Escape Room Ithaca, Monster Energy, the fixIT Shop, and Nintendo will be awarded!

Organizing Resistance Under Fire, For the Right to Stay: Honduras and Colombia

Hondurans are facing a political and human rights crisis with the ongoing counterinsurgency tactics of U.S. trained and financed security forces, and with the crackdown on organized resistance to extractive projects. Still, Honduran communities and movements continue to build collective resistance, against the odds. Phil Josselyn (CISPES, Committee in Solidarity with the People of El Salvador, and just returned from a delegation to Honduras) will discuss community organizations fighting dam projects and violence against them, following the killing of indigenous leader Berta Caceres.
