Congratulations to nine Ithaca College aging studies students and a community member who were inducted on March 30 into the Gamma Nu chapter of Sigma Phi Omega (SPO), the national academic honor and professional society in gerontology. SPO was established in 1980 to recognize excellence of those who study gerontology and aging and the outstanding service of professionals who work with or on behalf of older persons.

How can we best serve society? By each and every day making choices that do good for others as well as ourselves. The content and development of character are explored through a series of challenging activities and assignments. Tools for examining and intentionally altering patterns of thought and action to better serve society are introduced. Pass/Fail. 1 credit. No prerequisites. LA. (F,S)

Family Carnival is back for another year! There will be activities for all ages, including arts and crafts, face painting, bag toss, and two bounce houses! There will also be live performances, a raffle, and pizza! The event will be held on Friday, April 7, from 5:00pm - 8:00pm in the lower level gyms of the IC Fitness Center. 

Entry is $4 for kids and adults 18 and over.

$16 for parties of four or more.
