As the fall semester comes to an end, some of you may have an expected or unexpected vacancy in your room or apartment. Whether you anticipate a vacancy or not, the Office of Residential Life strongly recommends that you complete a vacancy form indicating the individual you would like to pull into your room in the event that a space opens. If a vacancy occurs in your room or apartment and we do not have this form on file, we will assign that space to a student interested in living in that particular area.

Leadership Weekend is a two-day retreat that brings together first year students from a variety of roles on campus to learn from each other and discover new ways to demonstrate leadership. Participants attend a series of leadership development sessions that focus on team-building and further developing individual leadership skills. This is also an opportunity to earn 3 Leading Self credits for the Student Leadership Institute (SLI)!

IC Circle K, in partnership with Student United Way, will be having our yearly One World Market fundraiser! One World Market will be selling a number of their handmade, fair-trade goods on campus, and a portion of the profits will benefit both student organizations. They can help you prepare for the upcoming Ithaca winter with their array of hats, scarves, and gloves, in addition to help you check some friends and family members off your shopping list this holiday season! The sale will take place in the North Foyer of Campus Center on December 5, 6, and 7, from 9-3 each day.

Seasons Eatings, everyone! Do you want to make a difference in a child’s life this Holiday Season? From December 1st through 16th, donations can be made at any of our ten retail dining locations.

All funds raised will go to the Food Bank of the Southern Tier’s Backpack Program to feed children in Tompkins County. When children from food insecure homes are not in school, often times, they aren't able to eat 3 meals per day. A $3.00 donation will fill a backpack with food for a child in need, helping to bridge the gap over weekends and school breaks.

Candy, FREE food, and Gingerbread!

 The IC Asian American Alliance will be hosting its last event of the semester TONIGHT at 8 PM in Friends 207. We will be learning about and crafting Asian architectures with gingerbread! Teams will compete to make the best gingerbread architecture, so bring your friends and join us to kick off the holiday season! Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
