Ithaca College invites all as we commemorate the rich history and cultures of the indigenous and first peoples of our land. This campus-wide educational programming series provides learning opportunities through lectures, presentations, performances, film screenings with discussions, and other efforts, to honor native cultures and the history of our country.

The members of the Diversity Awareness Committee (DAC) invite you to attend our first meeting of the Fall 2016 semester, on Thursday, November 17th from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., in the Human Resources Conference Room, Garden Level of the Peggy Ryan Williams Center, and participate in a facilitated discussion on oppression. Cynthia Henderson, Associate Professor in Theatre Arts, will facilitate this meeting entitled “Aspects of Oppression”.

Dr. David Hirsh (University of London) will speak about "Antisemitism in the 21st Century" on Tuesday, November 15, at 7:00 pm in Textor 101. The term “anti-Semitism” was coined in 1879 to describe the anti-Jewish campaigns under way in central Europe. On November 12, Ithaca College will take on SUNY Cortland in the annual Cortaca Game. This year the game will be at SUNY Cortland.

The Student Activities Board (SAB) and Students Today Alumni Tomorrow (STAT) will be hosting a viewing party in the Campus Center Dining Hall starting at 11:30.

There will be tons of prizes and food like Root beer Floats, Breakfast sandwiches, banana splits. Fried Pickle Chips & Jalapeno Peppers.

Come cheer on Ithaca College, eat exciting foods and win amazing prizes with friends.

Don’t forget to wear your Cortaca T-shirt that you can get during Spirit Week. If you wear this shirt you will receive an extra ticket. No worries if you do not get a shirt please still come on by.

EASDC Fall Social!

The Educational Affairs Staff Development Committee is hosting our first social event of the year on Monday, November 21 from 11- 1pm in Klingenstein Lounge. Come get to know your Educational Affairs colleagues and have some fun raising money to support the Chapel Emergency Fund that provides monies, gas cards, and grocery cards to students, faculty and staff in need.

There will be food, music, make-your-own greeting card station, and a silent gift basket raffle.

The gift baskets for the silent raffle are being posted on the event page, so you can sneak a peak ahead of time!
