Mauk’s pedagogical method, Saxophone Warm-Ups, was recently published in the People’s Republic of China. Mauk toured China in 2012 and presented concerto and recital performances, as well as master classes in several cities. His association with the premiere saxophone professor in China, Yusheng Li, led to his method being published there. The book was released only last month and will be one of the few English language saxophone books to be translated into Chinese.
