The Liberty League—of which Ithaca College is a member—has announced that the league’s Presidents Council has unanimously agreed on a plan for a return to athletics competition this spring. Under the plan, Liberty League competition will begin no earlier than the weekend of March 26, with competition predominantly taking place among league member institutions. Ithaca College student-athletes and team personnel will adhere to a rigorous COVID-19 testing protocol in order to ensure a healthy and safe environment for competition.

Every year, we are overwhelmed by all the support we receive from faculty and staff in helping us put on our annual Whalen Symposium. If you or members of your department are able to join us this year for the 24th Annual Whalen Symposium, on April 19, 20, and 21, 2021 from 4PM-7PM EST,  volunteering as an Abstract Reviewer, Finalist Judge, Moderator, or Time Keeper/Zoom Moderator, we'd be glad to have you. Detailed instructions will be sent to volunteers as necessary, and there will be a practice session closer to the conference.

The series runs throughout the month of March, filled with exciting and meaningful presentations designed specifically for Ithaca College students! Need a scholarship for the 2021-2022 academic year?

The Office of Student Engagement is happy to announce a number of scholarship opportunities available to YOU for the 2021-2022 academic year. You can apply to multiple scholarships using ONE application.

All OSE Service and Involvement Scholarship applications are due Sunday, March 21st at 11:59pm.

Descriptions of each scholarship are available along with the application link through our website: Office of Student Engagement Service and Involvement Scholarships. You will find that each scholarship has different qualifications, but most of them require campus involvement and/or community service during your collegiate career.  Some scholarships are only available to students with financial need.

This Saturday, February 27th from 6 am - 7:30 am Information Technology will be performing network maintenance.  There will be about a 10 minute wireless outage in all of the administrative and academic buildings within the 6 am - 7:30 am window.  The residential buildings will not be affected.

This 1.5 hour experiential, interactive workshop will encourage staff and faculty to explore their own history and beliefs about grief. Mandi Zucker Founder and President of Inner Harbor, will examine how our own beliefs effect the way we support others and learn strategies to be present to those who are in pain. There will be time for questions and answers as well.
