Cinema on the Edge, the interdisciplinary initiative to connect contemporary media arts with public debate and discussion, launches its fall season with an exciting roster of visiting filmmakers, screenings with panel discussions, and touring film festivals.
Screening of The Dybbuk (Michal Waszynski, Poland, 1937, 125m) Panel: Anna Siomopoulos (moderator, cinema and photography), Rebecca Lesses (Jewish studies), Peter Rothbart (music), Michael Faber (Hillel), Aron Gutman (Hillel) This event is sponsored by Hillel and Jewish Studies. All events are free, open to the public, and take place in Park Auditorium (in the Park School) unless another venue is indicated. Look for more events as Cinema on the Edge and Ithaca College host the Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival in October and the film The Intolerable Burden with visiting filmmakers Constance Curry and Chea Prince.
