Arctic Requiem will be performed in New York City at the Museum of Modern Art's Symphony Space on June 21, 2004.

Arctic Requiem, featuring a new score by electric violinist Ritsu Katsumata, digital imaging, vocal compositions by Louise Mygatt from the School of Music, and remixes, is a musical and multimedia reconception of the landmark silent documentary, Nanook of the North by Robert Flaherty.

It was produced to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Robert Flaherty Film Seminars, among the oldest media arts organizations in the world.

For more details on Arctic Requiem, see "World Premiere of Oratorio."
