Earth Day Weekend Mini-Course on Using Media For Social Change -- Open to All StudentsContributed by Melissa Gattine on 04/01/10
GCOM 29312 - 01 Participating students will be challenged, in a “super-forum,” to “join” actual media and entertainment company executives (television, radio, film, broadband, music, wireless, print, advertising and location-based), as “active employees,” in a “mock” industry challenge to use their media infrastructures, content abilities, distribution platforms and marketing capabilities to address a set of global sustainability issues put “in their face” by credible, global thought leaders. The Park School will provide the course, program and participants and will lead the student challenge; but, the course is open to all students of the college including, but not limited to, those studying Environmental Studies & Sciences, Natural Sciences, Psychology, Business, Health Promotion, Sociology, Religion & Ethics and History.
