Arhlene Flowers and Kati Lustyik Present Papers at International ConferencesContributed by Melissa Gattine on 06/22/10 Arhlene A. Flowers, assistant professor in the Department of Strategic Communication, will present a paper on June 25 at the International Communication Association's annual conference in Singapore. The paper, on virtual junk food playgrounds, is included in a session on Virtual Worlds for Children: Salient Issues, Diverse Methods, International Perspectives. The research paper was in collaboration with Katalin Lustyik, assistant professor in the Department of Television-Radio. Flowers and Lustyik will also present a paper, "The Expansion of Junk Food Marketing, Cyberspace, and Children's Waistlines: Government Public Relations Combating Childhood Obesity in Hungary and the U.K.," on July 2 at the 17th Annual BledCom: International Public Relations Research Symposium in Lake Bled, Slovenia.
