The Commisioner's Cup is given to the conference's most successful athletic department, based on standings and championship tournament results in Empire 8 sports. Ithaca scored 137 out of a possible 155 points, or 88.4 percent. That score marked the second-highest percentage ever recorded by an Empire 8 school; the Bombers won the 2003-04 Commisioner's Cup by scoring 93.4 percent of their possible points. Ithaca's winning score was 15.5 points ahead of the league's second-place school; the Bombers have finished first by at least 15 points three years in a row and five times in the past eight years. |
