Sustainability Café on November 7th explores our right to a healthy environmentContributed by Marian Brown on 11/04/11
Emma Cheuse, associate attorney, joined the Washington DC office of Earthjustice in 2008 after serving as the Alan Morrison Supreme Court Assistance Project Fellow at Public Citizen Litigation Group. At Earthjustice, Emma engages in environmental litigation and advocacy on a wide range of issues, including clean air, global warming, and mountaintop removal mining. Emma earned her law degree from the University of Michigan Law School in 2006, and received her Bachelor of Arts from Harvard-Radcliffe College in 1998. She developed her understanding of the importance of environmental protection and community-based advocacy while growing up in the Hudson River Valley, the Adirondacks and the Catskills, and then working for political candidates and campaign organizations in Minnesota, Virginia, Illinois and Massachusetts. Drink in a new way to think in the Sustainability Café.
