Patrick DiCiaccio ’08 received his B.A. in Biology, where he became especially enthralled by climate change studies. He travelled to the UN Climate Change Conference in Poland as a student delegate. Patrick graduated from the Bard Center for Environmental Policy with an M.S. in Climate Science & Policy. Through that degree program, in 2011, Patrick interned at the U.S. Department of Energy under the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Energy Efficiency, and was hired on to implement The Better Buildings Case Competition, a new Administration initiative which Patrick developed. In 2012, he interned as an EPA Program Examiner in the White House Office of Management & Budget within the Executive Office of the President. This event is free and open to the public. Drink in a new way to think in the Sustainability Café. Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Marian Brown at mbrown@ithaca.edu or (607) 274-3787.
