Info Meeting for Spring 2014 Course: Cinema Production PracticumContributed by Melissa Gattine on 10/25/13 Students interested in registering for Cinema Production Practicum for Spring 2014 are invited to attend an informational session on Thursday, Oct. 31 in Park 285 from 12:15 to 1:00. Professor Cathy Crane will skype with students and talk about her project, the course, and how to submit a request for participation.
Students enrolled in this class will be invited to participate in that production (in During Spring 2014, students will learn all aspects of preparing for a major film production through active engagement under the guidance of an award-winning You will assist the director in location scouting, visual design tests (miniatures, This class is open to students from across campus with Junior and Senior standing, with preference given to Seniors in the cinema production concentration or BFA degree program, and interest or experience in film production, historical research, screenplay adaptations, digital special effects, sculpture (building miniatures), set design, social media, website design, business, and/or photography. The class meets the capstone requirement for BFA and BS Cinema Production degree programs in the Park School. Faculty Approval Required.
