The Handwerker Gallery is pleased to be open doors for the semester with two concurrent exhibitions, AERIAL RECONNAISSANCE, and Your Margins, Your Rivers, Your Diminutive Villages. Your Margins, Your Rivers, Your Diminutive Villages January 22—March 7, 2014 Site-specific drawings and sculptures using surrealist automatism as a guiding principle, Loper’s work engages with local landscape as a departure point for construction of unexpected forms, exploring the intersecting terrains of landscape, utopian architecture, and bodily organism.
*** All Handwerker Gallery events are free and open to the public. Gallery hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 10.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.; Thursday, 10.00 a.m. to 9.00 p.m.; and weekends, noon to 5.00 p.m.. The gallery is closed to the public on Tuesdays unless otherwise specified for an event but can accommodate group or class visits by appointment.
