Four Ithaca College faculty members, Wendy Dann, Cynthia Henderson, Annette Levine and Chrystyna Dail presented at the Association for Theatre in Higher Education Conference held in Scottsdale,AZ in July. - Wendy Dann, Assistant Professor of Directing, presented "The Directing Classroom as Laboratory" as part of the 'Best Practices in Teaching Beginning Directing' panel. - Cynthia Henderson, Associate Professor of Acting, was a roundtable participant on the panel, "Shuo Meng Hua (Talking in my Dreams): Using Drama for English and Chinese Language Learning." - Annette Levine, Associate Professor in the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures, presented her paper, "Who Are We (Not) To Perform This?" on the 'Transnational Visions: Performative Interventions in Latin American and Latina/o Performance' panel. - Chrystyna Dail, Assistant Professor of Theatre History, presented her paper, "The Bitter Taste of Sugar: U.S. Colonialist Tactics Explored in Who Are the Weavers?" on the 'Race, Space, and Appropriation of Territory: Re-Historicizing the Other in American Theatre' panel. The 2014 ATHE conference theme was "Dream Acts: Performance as Refuge, Resistance, and Renewal."
