Great summer and academic year campus jobs can be tough to find. How do you find something fun and interesting that also works with your schedule? Most importantly, how will it help you develop skills in your field of choice? Good News! There are two positions on campus that meet all of these requirements, and both of are currently accepting applications! The Office of Student Engagement and Multicultural Affairs is seeking applicants for Student Leadership Consultants (SLCs) and Orientation Leaders (OLs) for the upcoming year! If you don’t think these positions are for you – PLEASE continue reading because we need YOU to apply for these incredible experiences. The most common question people have is, “Are these paid positions?”
People’s next concern is that these positions might not directly relate to their field of study. This concern could not be farther from the truth. According to the National Association for Colleges and Employers in a survey done in 2016, the two most important qualities to have on your resume are demonstrated leadership ability and the ability to work in a team.
