Contributed on behalf of Vanessa Brown, Business Intelligence Application Architect The DIIS Business Intelligence team (BI), along with the main report writers across campus, are pleased to announce the release of a new Reporting Center accessed through the new apps.ithaca.edu site (see Intercom announcement https://www.ithaca.edu/intercom/article.php/20170307151841102#.WL8b-vLVTFl). All reporting previously accessed through ACE/Argus will be accessed through the Reporting Center starting on April 10, 2017.
Training materials for current Argus users are available on-line at: https://www.ithaca.edu/financial_services/docs/reportcenterguide.pdf. For those Argus users who prefer in-person training, please sign up for one of the following training sessions by using GoSignMeUp (http://ithacaits.gosignmeup.com/Public/Course/Browse). 1. March 15 at 10 am The new Reporting Center offers a modern reporting interface with an updated, consolidated report creation toolset for report authors. The toolset allows for flexible report presentation with better graphics and dashboard capabilities. It is a major component in the technical infrastructure needed for implementing Business Intelligence and Analytics at Ithaca College and lays the foundation for the College to start expanding its “data as an asset” capacity. The following folks have worked extremely hard over the past 15 months to bring these changes to campus. Their efforts are greatly appreciated.
