The story of the 4 Mirabal sisters during the dictatorship of Rafael Trujillo in the Dominican Republic. Inspired by the true story of sisters who, in 1960, became political martyrs for supporting a revolution over the iron fist regime of Trujillo. A story of Latino fathers dealing with issues of immigration, faith, prejudice, isolation, marriage equality, machismo, culture, hope, culture, hope, solidarity, and the process of their LGBTQ children coming out. An AfroBoricua writer, performer, and educator born and raised in the Bronx, Noel Quiñones takes the stage in IC Square to deliver messages of "Perfection", "Confessions", and more.
