Eleanor Henderson gave a reading from her novel The Twelve-Mile Straight and discussed historical research on Cotton County, Georgia in the 1930s. Raul Palma, Jack Wang, and Jacob White composed a panel entitled "Remapping Genre in the Creative Writing Classroom." The titles of their respective presentations were "Spatializing Narrative: a Pedagogical Approach to Revision and Deep Reading in Fiction," "One Genre Among Many: Decentering Literary Fiction in the Fiction Writing Workshop," and "Teaching Autofiction: Using Confusion as Process to Locate a More Authentic Self." |
