The Writing Center will open for the year with limited hours beginning September 13th and will be open for all business hours as of September 20th. Visit ithaca.mywconline.com (reachable via apps.ithaca.edu) to make an account and an appointment. The Writing Center aims to help students from all disciplines, backgrounds, and experiences to develop greater independence as writers. We are committed to helping students see writing as central to critical and creative thinking. For the duration of fall 2020, the Writing Center will be offering synchronous video conferences using a combination of Zoom and Google Docs. The physical location in Smiddy 107 will not be open to clients.
Appointments can be made at Ithaca.mywconline.com, which is also linked on the apps.ithaca.edu page. During business hours, you can message ithacacollegewritingcenter on Google Hangouts or email ithacacollegewritingcenter@gmail.com to get real-time assistance or drop-in (subject to tutor availability).
Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Jaime Warburton at jwarburton@ithaca.edu or (607) 274-3543. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible. |
