The Ithacan Named 2021 Columbia Scholastic Press Association Crown Award FinalistContributed by Michael Serino on 12/03/20
The CSPA finalist announcement follows on the heels of The Ithacan’s Newspaper Pacemaker Award from the Associated Collegiate Press at end of October — marking top honors from the two most prestigious collegiate journalism organizations in the country. The paper was judged based on both its print and online editions produced during the 2019-20 academic year (Sophia Adamucci ’20, editor-in-chief). The winners will be announced at the (Virtual) Spring National College Media Convention in March 2021. Founded in 1925, the CSPA is owned by Columbia University and operated as a program affiliated with the graduate school of journalism. |
