Student Employees perform an invaluable service with enthusiasm, dedication and initiative.  Along with our annual celebration of appreciation for all our student employees, that will take place on April 16th, we will be honoring one student employee with an Ithaca College Student Employee of the Year Award. 

The Student Employment Office is still accepting nominations and will continue to do so until March 15, 2015. All nominations must be completed online and contain the required documentation to be considered complete and eligible for the committee to review.  The application form and instructions can be found on the student employment website and will be available until March 15, 2015. The National Science Foundation has granted an award to Ithaca College researchers Dr. Carole Dennis, Professor in Occupational Therapy, Dr. Sharon Stansfield, Associate Professor/Chair in Computer Science, Dr. Hélène Larin, Acting Associate Dean in the School of Health Sciences and Human Performance, Dr. Nancy Rader, Professor in Psychology, and Dr. Judith Pena-Shaff, Associate Professor/Chair in Psychology to investigate the effect of locomotor experience on the development of executive function in pre-crawling 5 to 7-month old infants.

Fostering evidence-based learning through critical reflection encourages transformative education. A model for ePortfolio integration will be highlighted. Strategies for utilizing ePortfolios to enhance teaching and learning and integrated course design will be shared.
