Everyone should be counted where they spend most of the year or where they live on April 1– which means that Ithaca College students should be counted here in Tompkins County. The Census doesn't just count U.S. citizens so visiting scholars and international students should also be sure to complete the Census questionnaire. No questions about citizenship are asked and all date is kept confidential at the individual level. Your parents should not include you in their census report. If you live off campus, in late March you will shortly be getting a postcard from the Census directing you to complete the census on-line. You should designate one representative of your house or apartment to complete the form on behalf of all residents. On-campus students, you will be receiving information from your RA or RD about how to complete the census.

Join us for Cake and Coffee on Friday, February 28 in Klingenstein Lounge from 12:00 - 2:00 pm. Please bring a donation for the pantry to the party if you’re able (most needed items are boxed macaroni and cheese, ramen, toiletries, canned tuna and chicken, and pasta). If you haven’t had an opportunity to see the space, tours of the pantry will happen at 12:15, 12:45, 1:15 and 1:45. Meet our volunteers, learn about how the pantry is being used, celebrate the many successes we have had, and write a thank you note that we will share with our donors about why you are grateful for the pantry.
