FWD: Fun Without Drinking will be hosting an ALTERNATIVE CORTACA event on Saturday, November 16th from 11:30-4pm in Taughannock Falls Room! 

This event is FREE! There will be FREE FOOD, GAMES, PRIZES, and we will be LIVE-STREAMING THE GAME.  

 

Fun Without Drinking (referred to as "forward") is a group for Ithaca College students who are looking to have Fun Without Drinking.  The goal of this group is to allow individuals to meet others who share similar beliefs to establish friendships and alternative activities. We have weekly meetings and host activities on the weekends.

The Ithaca College Gerontology Institute regrets it must cancel its workshop on dementia and depression, originally scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 19, at the Country Inn and Suites. Due to medical reasons, the speaker is unable to present "Behavioral Interventions for Depression in Cognitively Impaired Elders." We hope to be able to reschedule this topic next spring.

If you have registered for this workshop, you will be contacted soon about this cancellation and any refund you may be due. (IC faculty, staff, and students may attend Institute workshops at no charge.) If you have questions, please email them to aging@ithaca.edu .

Ithaca College Student Rush Ticketing

Through partnering with Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO), Ithaca College students will be able to attend all RPO concerts held in Ford Hall at no cost. Students should stand in line outside of the house left entrance to Ford Hall before each concert and have their Ithaca College Student ID available upon request.

Each year the Finger Lakes Environmental Film festival offers stipends to faculty to teach one credit hour mini courses which take advantage of the films and other events sponsored by The Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival, March 31-April 6, 2014.

"Dissonance" will be the broad theme for this year’s festival.  More information about the theme will soon be posted at https://www.ithaca.edu/fleff/.

Most mini courses are one credit hour courses held during block II. If you are interested in offering a course either in-load or as an overload, please contact Warren Schlesinger, the FLEFF mini course coordinator (warren@ithaca.edu) or 4-3951. 

We are looking for courses to be offered from all schools at the College.
