Maurice Grant '13, Adeesha Ekanayake '14, and Prof. Doug Turnbull (Computer Science) recently had their peer-reviewed paper "MeUse: Recommending Internet Radio Stations" accepted for publication in the proceedings of the 14th International Conference on Music Information Retrieval. The conference will be held in Curitiba, Brazil from November 4-8.
The eleventh annual Veterans Day Celebration will be held from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m., on Thursday, November 7, 2013, in Ford Auditorium in the Whalen Center for Music. Members of the Ithaca College community are encouraged to join in the college salute to those who serve, or have served.
On the weekend of October 19 and 20 the Ithaca College Debate Team traveled to Toronto for the North American Universities Debate Championships.
Lou Allstadt and Chip Northrup, analysts of drilling technologies and the economics of the gas industry, along with Jerry Acton, a systems engineer, and geologist Brian Brock, will give a free presentation titled “Marcellus and Utica Shale Gas Potential in New York State”. This event will take place TONIGHT at 7:00 pm in Hollister Hall Auditorium (Room B-14), 4 Central Avenue, Cornell University. The discussion will be moderated by Dr. Anthony Ingraffea, professor of engineering at Cornell University. This event is free and open to the public.
