Cyndy Scheibe, the founder and Executive Director of Project Look Sharp at Ithaca College, presented at the conferences only session on media literacy. In New York City, we'll perform a day of service on Saturday, October 19. On that day, New York Cares will conduct the city's largest hands-on volunteer day to revitalize 90 public schools. Join other students and IC alumni, parents, and friends at P.S. 050 Clara Barton in the Bronx. We'll be working from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. On that same day, IC community members in New England will get together for an afternoon of service at the Greater Boston Food Bank, putting together food packages for individuals and families served by the food bank.
