Luca Maurer, program director of the Center for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) Education, Outreach, Services, coauthored a recently published teaching lesson in a new book about contraception and sexual health.

The lesson, "How Could That Be? A Lesson About Identity, Behavior, Perception, & Risk," assists learners in exploring common assumptions as compared to what research actually reveals regarding adolescents, unintended pregnancy, behavior, and sexual orientation and gender identity.

The majority of public lab computers and eClassrooms are set up to "auto login". This means that these computers will automatically login to a specialized account when the computer is turned on. This account has settings associated with it that ensure that the computer behaves in an expected way, such as making sure the projector works correctly.

ITS offers computing workshops every week on a variety of topics in the Technology Learning Center (101 Friends Hall) at no charge to all faculty, staff, and students. The TLC will be offering training on Taskstream, Sakai, Web Profile Manager, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, Windows 7, Mac OS X, and Photoshop from Monday, September 30 through Friday, October 4.
