Our Go Red for Women, Heart Healthy campaign helped to raise awareness about the #1 killer of women, heart disease and it was a great success! On the first Friday of the month we gave out MORE THAN 600 GO RED FOR WOMEN PINS to anyone wearing red on campus. It was great way to spread awareness and support for heart health! We received 15 awesome Wear Red Friday photos, 11 delicious heart healthy eligible recipes, 10 beautifully decorated red dress cut outs and we are now pleased to announce our winners:

The EDUCAUSE & Internet2 Higher Education Information Security Council (HEISC) is conducting its fifth contest in search of short information security awareness videos and posters developed by college students, for college students.

Winners will receive cash prizes, and their videos and posters will be featured on the HEISC website (www.educause.edu/security). The winning videos and posters may be used in campus security awareness campaigns.

Don't Be Fooled By Email Scams

ITS wants to remind all email users to NEVER respond to email messages requesting passwords or other personal information.

ITS continues to receive reports of email "phishing" scams which request that users provide their email username, password, date of birth or other personal information. The fraudulent messages often claim that some type of account will be disabled or deleted if the recipient doesn't confirm or update the account by providing personal information.

 Imprint Magazine is hosting a creative writing contest for students at ANY college or university, regardless of location, with a CASH PRIZE for first and second place winners.

There are five categories for this contest: photography, poetry, non-fiction, fiction and screenplays.
