Ithaca College students are invited to attend the Cayuga Medical Center's (CMC) Career Fair on Wednesday, February 13 from 4:30-6:30pm.  The Cayuga Medical Center houses 204 beds, employs over 1,200 health-care professionals, and has a medical staff of more than 200 affiliated physicians.

People with developmental disabilities are living longer than ever before, thanks to better medical care and research. However, their aging process can be complicated by both lifelong and new health issues. In addition, 25 percent of people with developmental disabilities who live at home with their family, live with an aging family caregiver who is 60 years or older, and this percentage is rising. What happens when aging parents develop their own medical and cognitive decline? Who will assume caregiving for both?

Faculty and students are invited to attend a presentation by candidate, Jane Yamashiro, who is a semi-finalist for the line in Asian-American Studies. Andrew Utterson, assistant professor in the Department of Media Arts, Sciences, and Studies, co-curated a 2012 Blu-ray/DVD release of the 1928 silent film The Passion of Joan of Arc directed by Carl Theodor Dreyer.

The disc-and-book package was recently voted the ‘DVDs and Blu-rays of 2012’ by the British Film Institute (BFI). The poll features the opinions of 28 critics and producers.
