Congratulations to the amazing, hard-working and imaginative 2012 FLEFF interns who designed and built the Microtopias Installation from recyclables, now on the Ithaca College quad to inaugurate this year's festival theme. The installation will be up all week.

Interns were divided into teams. Each team worked to develop two letters of the word "microtopias."

FLEFF internship coordinators Ann Michel and Phil Wilde from Insights International produced the Microtopias Installation. The festival's project and conceptual team also included Tanya Saunders, Assistant Provost; Marian Brown, Head of Operations for FLEFF; and Mark Darling, Sustainability Programs Coordinator.

Landscape designer and land artist Mary Zebell will judge the installation and decide on the most artistically innovative letter.

Come to the after gathering at the Finger Lakes Wine Center on Thursday, March 30, at 9 p.m. to find out which letter won--and which team will receive gift certificates to the Ithaca College bookstore!
