Faculty Council will conduct a faculty meeting to discuss IC 20/20 -- and other topics as time permits -- on Thursday, March 29, at 4:00 p.m. in Textor 103.  All faculty are encouraged to attend.

On Monday, March 19, the Department of Public Works will begin street cleaning operations in the South Hill area of the City of Ithaca. The affected streets will be posted as “No Parking Zones” 24 hours in advance of the cleaning. All vehicles remaining on the street after 7:00 a.m. on the day of the scheduled cleaning will be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense. The standard towing rate in the City of Ithaca is $100 plus sales tax, and storage fees are $25 per day.

As part of the college's implementation of IC 20/20, we are in the process of hiring a Director of Faculty Development, with candidates for the position visiting campus during the week after spring break.  An open session will be held from 3:15 to 4:30 in Textor 102 on each of the interview dates (March 19, 21 & 22), including a presentation by the candidate as well as time for questions and conversation.  Interested members of the campus community are welcome to participate any or all of these sessions; faculty members are particularly encouraged to attend.

Samantha Yu, a freshman film, photography & visual arts major, is one of ten students chosen to be a student delegate at the 30th Annual San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival (SFIAAFF), held in San Francisco March 8-18.

Yu, the youngest of all the student delegates, was chosen from a competitive pool of undergraduate and graduate students.
