Pick a tag, any tag...

The Caring and Sharing Committee's Holiday Drive is underway and there are several ways you can help!

Pick a tag to buy that special gift for a young boy or girl, or you may choose a tag to supply a box of household items to a family in need. This could consist of laundry soap, shampoo, toothpaste, tissues, etc. -- all of those items that add up so quickly.  Giving Trees are located in the Bookstore, and unwrapped gifts (with tags attached) need to be returned to the Chapel by December 16.

David Parks, Professor of Voice in the School of Music, was guest soloist at Hamilton University this past week.  He sang the tenor solos in Handel's Alexander's Feast with the Hamilton Choral Society and members of the former Syracuse Symphony.

Tis the season!! Come out and ring in the holidays with Ithacappella and celebrate the release of our brand new CD, Off The Hook!! This concert is definitely one that you won't want to miss.

If you have some time during final exam week and can give us a three hour block of time for proctoring exams, please contact us.

This may be a good time for you to get some grading or reading done and, at the same time, provide a valuable service to the IC community. We can ask your deans and supervisors for release time, if necessary.

Final Exam Procedures for Faculty

The large number of students using test accommodations through Student Disability Services during finals week necessitates careful planning for adequate test space, proctors, readers, scribes, and to ensure test security.

Get resume advice and also learn about internships, hourly on-call staff and full-time job opportunities with the Tompkins Trust Co. when their Human Resources representative visits campus for an Information Session on Thursday, Dec. 8 at 12:15p.m. in Career Services. Tompkins Trust has branches in Ithaca, Batavia & the Hudson Valley. There are many departments within Tompkins Trust, so opportunities exist for students interested in fields including: marketing, computer technology, accounting, human resources, finance, mortgage lending, sales and wealth management.

This multimedia performance includes a short film composed of interviews with IC students, media footage, photographs and factual information regarding the current Israeli occupation of Gaza.  Following the film will be a reader's theater performance in which students will read from selected on-line blog entries written by displaced persons currently residing in Gaza.

Services on Long Island have been scheduled for later this week for Gregory Mantone, a junior in the School of Music who was killed in an automobile accident early Saturday morning while on a weekend trip to New York City.

 If you haven't gotten the chance to sign up for a Habitat winter break trip, there is still a chance to! IC Habitat is having 2 winter break trips from January 14th-21st to Statesville, NC and Sea Island, SC. There are spots left for non-drivers to Sea Island and spots left for drivers to Statesville.
