Please note that the following parking lots on campus will be closed due to activities related to Fall Splash (alumni weekend) and the dedication of the Athletics and Events Center:

Friday, October 14
Saturday, October 15
5:00 a.m. – midnight each day

  • U Lot (blue)
  • M Lot (blue/red)

In addition, guests coming on Saturday, October 15, for the A&E Center dedication will be instructed to park in the O and S lots near the Park School of Communications. Shuttles will run between those lots and the A&E Center.

The Alash ensemble is a quartet of master throat singers (xöömeizhi) from Tuva, a tiny republic in the heart of Central Asia. The ancient art of throat singing (xöömei) developed among the nomadic herdsmen of this region.

Joshua Bonnetta, assistant professor in the Department of Cinema, Photography and Media Arts, premiered his film American Colour at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) in September.

TIFF is recognized as one of the most important film festivals in the world. Professor Bonnetta's film screened in the Wavelength program which celebrates innovation and experimentation in film and video curating the best international avant-garde film and video works internationally.

We invite you to help us turn these red, white, and blue fabrics into pillowcases for soldiers overseas. Our sewing gathering will take place on Monday, October 17 from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. in the Peggy Ryan Williams Center, room #GL52. Come when you can and stay as long as you can.  IC Quilters welcomes novice and seasoned seamstresses.
