And this year's celebration includes something extra special: the dedication of the new Athletics and Events Center. Faculty and staff are entitled to a free ticket to the Fall Splash picnic, which will take place on Saturday, October 15, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the Campus Center quad. Additional tickets for spouses/partners may be purchased for $25 per person; children 12 and under are free. If you would like to attend the A&E Center dedication on October 15, you can buy tickets at a discounted rate of $50 per person. The event will begin with an outdoor dedication at 6:30 p.m., followed by a festive reception inside the facility, a candlelit dinner, and a concert by Orleans, a well-known pop/rock band fronted by Larry Hoppen '71.
