A new innovative website, GoodInKind.com, just launched in Ithaca and provides a unique way to raise money for your favorite charities.   At GoodInKind.com you can offer services to be purchased by members of the community or by other students for a set price. The money from the transaction is sent directly to your chosen charity.

For example, you and a group of your friends might offer to help someone paint their bedroom, or cook a big meal for a dinner party, or you can simply offer to tutor a member of the community in your favorite subject or sport.  When you post the offer on GoodInKind.com, you set the price and choose a local charity to receive the funds.  When someone contacts you to buy the service, GoodInKind takes the payment info from the buyer and channels the money to the designated charity.
