American Society for Cell Biology, Philadelphia, PA.  (Co-authored by Laura Murphy, Lauren Krisak (both Biology '11), and Edward B. Cluett.

  • Laura  received an Undergraduate Award from the American Society of Cell Biology and an award from Ithaca's H&S Educational Grant Initiative to attend this meeting.

Living with Grief is a weekly drop in support group for those living with loss, regardless of when that loss might have occurred.  Consider stopping by and listening to the questions and stories of others, and perhaps sharing your own.

Current group participants want you to know "you are not alone".

You can find Living with Loss in the Health Promotion Resource Room on the lower level of the Health Center (enter through side of building facing parking lot by going down the stairs).  The group meets every Thursday at 5:15 and runs until about 6:30.  Feel free to stop by even if you can't get there on time.

The group members are looking forward to welcoming you!

Meyer, the Director of Orchestras at Ithaca College, will travel to Colorado State University over the weekend of February 12, during the Colorado All-State Orchestra Conference.  He will conduct Shostakovich Symphony No. 5 with the CSU Symphony Orchestra, as well as work with graduate conductors who are presently in the CSU Masters of Music program.  Meyer will present a lecture entitled "The Power of Gesture" to the music educators and ensemble directors who are assembled in Colorado for the recognized conference.

IC Human Rights is proud to be hosting Athens Boys Choir and Katastrophe at 8 p.m. February 15 in Emerson Suites. The two transgender performing artists will be presenting a free evening of hip-hop and spoken word as part of their F to eMbody tour, which is an effort to increase visibility of transgender people on college campuses.
