The Technology Learning Center has launched a brand new Podcasting Training Series! Learn how to create and edit your own audio and video podcasts. Publish audio and video podcasts on iTunes U. See how you can share your podcasts just with your class or with the whole IC community.

These first 3 topics are part of a larger program of new topics on digital media for instructional presentations being offered throughout the spring. Stay tuned for even more digital media-related training in March and April!

STILLWATER, the Writing Department's literary magazine, is seeking submissions for its annual publication. Submit fiction, poetry, plays, art (photography, graphic art, painting, drawings), and nonfiction (literary journalism, essay, criticism, memoir). 

We know that Ithaca is filled with people producing great writing and great artwork. Now is the chance to see it in print!

Students must have at least one semester of Ithaca College grades to apply, and at least a 2.75 overall grade point average to be considered.  No single criteria, including GPA, guarantees admission to the minor.

Admission to the minor in the Department of Journalism is competitive and limited by space.  Minor applications are reviewed twice a year.  The deadline for this semester is February 28th.  For additional information and the application please go to www.ithaca.edu/rhp/depts/journalism/docs/journalismminor/.

Ithaca College will host a free public screening of the cross-cultural romantic comedy “When Harry Tries to Marry,” followed by a discussion with three of the participants in the film. The showing will take place on Friday, Feb. 18, at 4 p.m. in Park Auditorium. Taking part in the discussion will be writer/director/producer Nayan Padrai, producer Sheetal Vyas and actress Lauren LoGiudice.

About the Film:

Harry is an Indian-American college student in New York City who shocks his assimilated family as well as his friends when he insists that he wants a traditional arranged marriage in an effort to avoid being disappointed by love like his bitterly divorced parents.
