Healthy eating habits are essential to a wellness lifestyle. To maintain a healthy diet, eat fewer processed foods and more whole grains, limit sugar and salt, and stay hydrated (but not by drinking soda and high-sugar energy drinks - stick to water). Learning how to interpret the nutrition labels on foods can help you determine which foods give you more "bang" for your "buck." Try to eat small, frequent meals throughout the day to maintain your energy level for optimal performance in the gym and in the classroom. For more tips on eating smart, visit the Center for Health Promotion website's section, "Nutrition and Healthy Eating" at www.ithaca.edu/sacl/healthpromotion/nutrition/. Thursday hours will be 10:45 am to 4:30 pm. The change from our traditional closing time of 5:00 pm will improve student service by allowing staff time at the end of the day to make necessary contact with students and their families who need assistance with financial matters. This change also will align our service area hours with those of our neighbor, the Registrar's Office, providing a uniform end time for all transactions in this area. We look forward to assisting the Campus Community with improved efficiency! |
