Patricia Rodriguez, Assistant Professor of Politics at IC, investigates the impacts on land redistribution of political and mobilizational tactics by land & resource related social movements in Brazil, Ecuador, Chile She will address the Monday IC Environmental Seminar, talking about post-Pinochet policies in Chile that favor economic and development priorities over community integrity and environmental sustainability, and the indigenous response expressed through environmental and land rights struggles.

October is National Cyber Security Awareness Month (NCSAM).

Billy Hall '84, vice president of programming for TNT and TBS, part of Time Warner's Turner Broadcasting System, will return to campus to give a session titled, "Reel Truth: Candid Talk about Navigating an Entertainment Industry Career after IC" on Monday, October 11 from 4:30-6 p.m. in Park 220.

Hall's session is an informal, audience-driven, no-holds-barred interactive seminar where he openly shares his experiences and insights on issues rarely discussed anywhere about the entertainment industry: the business, and how to get in.

The event is Cosponsored by the Roy H. Park School of Communications and the Division of Interdisciplinary and International Studies.
