The Office of Admission will close at 11:45 a.m. on Friday, August 6, 2010.  Our President's Hosts will offer our scheduled tours at noon and 1:00 p.m.

Financial Services would like to remind employees of the responsibilities involved with credit card transactions. In order to be in compliance with IRS regulations and for auditing purposes, credit card transactions must be updated in a timely manner according to the Ithaca College Purchasing Card Policy and the Ithaca College Travel Card Policy. Individuals involved with credit card transactions include:

  • Cardholders of an IC Purchasing or Travel credit card,
  • Individuals assigned the responsibility for updating credit card transactions in Parnassus (departmental coordinator), and
  • Supervisors of credit cardholders and departmental coordinators

The position calls for members of the Ithaca College Staff and Faculty to serve as justices for Ithaca College Conduct Review Board and Conduct Appeal Board hearings. These Conduct Boards are charged with the responsibility of protecting and enforcing the rules and regulations set down in the Ithaca College Student Conduct Code's "Statement of Responsibilities." The Conduct Review Board and Appeal Board hear cases of alleged academic and non-academic misconduct by Ithaca College Students. The Board will determine if a student should be found responsible for the charge(s) he/she allegedly violated, and if found responsible, impose judicial sanctions that range from written warning to expulsion from the College.

ITS announced support for Thunderbird 3 for Windows in April, and encourages all faculty and staff using Thunderbird 2 to upgrade to the latest version, Thunderbird 3.1.

Thunderbird 3.1 has several new features including tab-style messaging, improved search capabilities, new toolbar options, attachment reminders and more. Our one-page upgrade guide provides detailed steps for upgrading from Thunderbird 2 to 3.1, as well as information about other resources for learning all about the new version.

The Princeton Review - known for its education services helping students choose and get in to colleges - today reported its third annual “Green Ratings” of colleges: a measure of how environmentally friendly the institutions are on a scale of 60 to 99 – Ithaca College scored 98, same as last year.

A total of nine new members will be inducted into the Ithaca College Athletic Hall of Fame. The annual induction ceremony will be held Oct. 1, in the college’s Emerson Suites. The nine inductees represent 10 sports.
