Infants between 6 and 12 months are needed to assist us in developing a mobile robot system using a joy stick. In a session of 30 to 60 minutes, at our Ithaca campus site, the infant will be securely seated and we will try to interest the infant to reach for toys and move the robot. Parents will be present at all time and will receive $15 per session for their assistance in this project. We hope eventually to use this device with very young children who have difficulty to move independently. Please contact Hélène Larin at 274-3116 or hlarin@ithaca.edu if you are willing to participate in the project with your infant and/or obtain further information. Thank you.
