We are currently seeking of anyone who would be willing to help out with this production in any way. We are especially in need of actors, and auditions for the production will be: Sunday, February 21, at 3:00 PM in Friends 201 Monday, February 22, at 9:00 PM in Friends 201 Tuesday, February 23, at 12:10 PM in Friends 201 These are informal auditions and no preparation is necessary! No acting experience is required either! The production will be sometime near the middle of April. Anyone interested in helping in any capacity should also attend these auditions. Should you like a non-acting role, please attend to introduce yourself to the director, Alejandro Chavarria.

The list of finalists in the national competition includes online newspapers from Indiana University, Iowa State University, the University of Oklahoma and the University of Pennsylvania. Winners will be announced at the Spring National College Media Convention in New York City, March 14–16. The Ithacan Online was awarded the CSPA Gold Crown in 2009. Founded in 1925, the CSPA is owned by Columbia University and operated as a program affiliated with its Graduate School of Journalism. The Crown Awards, first presented in 1982, are the organization's highest recognition of overall excellence.
