Their responsibilities include supporting the Phi Kappa Phi and Oracle Honor Societies, the National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR), the Academic Challenge and Mini grants, the ROTC program, Title IX and other internal duties. (75 words) Shelter-in-Place Drill Tuesday Morning at Career ServicesContributed by Elyse Nepa on 10/14/19 Ithaca College will hold a shelter-in-place drill for the Office of Career Services in Muller Faculty on the morning of Tuesday, October 15th. Career Services will be completely closed to the public from 8:45 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on that date. Any incoming phone calls during that time will be forwarded to voicemail. Only the Office of Career Services will be involved in the drill. The rest of the campus will be unaffected. The Office of Public Safety and Emergency Management is working with offices across campus to develop individualized emergency response plans, and the drill will provide an opportunity for those who work in Career Services to practice responding to an active-shooter type situation. The drill will not include any simulated attack, but rather will commence and conclude with an announcement to employees who work in the office. Read more . . . Food Pantry Open Hours and Call for VolunteersContributed by Doreen Hettich-Atkins on 10/13/19 The on-campus Food Pantry will be open this week on Tuesday October 15th from 6-7 pm and Friday October 18th from 4-5:30pm. Fall hours will be every Tuesday from 6-7 pm and every Friday from 4-5:30 pm. The Pantry is located in the DeMotte Room (you can enter by going down the stairs to the left of the information desk in Phillips Hall or by using the back entrance to Phillips Hall closest to the upper quads and near the stairs that go up to the academic quad).
