IC Link is an online student organization management tool and serves as Ithaca College’s public directory of student groups.

Student organizations may use IC Link to register with Ithaca College, manage their operations, complete forms, and view various reports. Additionally, students may use the program to explore involvement opportunities and learn about events. Until this week, IC Link generated usernames and passwords for individuals that created profiles.

In response to requests by faculty for a statement regarding services for students with disabilities, here is a concise insert for inclusion in course syllabi.
 

"In compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act, reasonable accommodation will be provided to students with documented disabilities on a case-by-case basis. Students must register with the Office of Academic Support Services and provide appropriate documentation to the College before any academic adjustment will be provided."

In compliance with section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, class materials must be made available in alternate format.  Alternate formats include audio versions of written documents, documents in Braille and/or enlarged print, and documents in electronic format.

Engaging Communities Luncheon Event

There are many different communities that make up Ithaca College. Some of these smaller communities are affinity groups, communities of like interest. The Office of Human Resources is excited to host an event to celebrate the notion of community. 

On Thursday, February 11, 2010, 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. in Emerson Suites, we will welcome some leaders from Syracuse University to our campus.

Pool Hours for January 18-24

The pool will be open Monday, January 18, through Friday, January 22, from noon to 1:00 p.m. It will be closed Saturday, January 23, and Sunday, January 24. 

Regular pool hours will resume Monday, January 25, at 7:00 a.m.

Don't miss this exciting slate of workshops for MLK Week.  Topics include a Talking Circle on Race and Racism, a discussion of Modern Day Abolitionism, information about the building of a community memorial to remember the men lynched by a mob in the 1920s in Minnesota, a discussion of the IC Climate Action Plan, and a discussion with President Rochon entitled "Comfort and Challenge in 2010".

Nancy Cornwell, professor and chair in the Department of Television-Radio, gave a two-part interview with WHCU that aired on December 28, 2009 during the Morning NewsWatch program.  The interview focused on the implications of Comcast purchasing NBC Universal.  Podcasts are on on the radio station's website, http://www.whcu870.com.

Students entering Ithaca College in the spring will be attending Winter Welcome Orientation on Friday, January 22 – Sunday, January 24.

The Campus Choral Ensemble is a vocal ensemble open to any student at Ithaca College. There are no auditions for this ensemble. The Ithaca College Campus Choral Ensemble is intended primarily for the non-music major who would like to sing in a large vocal ensemble. The course may be taken for 0, .5, or 1 credit. One concert is scheduled each semester; the spring concert date is during typical rehearsal time on Thursday, April 22.
