Ithaca College is implementing a new cell phone policy that was developed to address two primary concerns having to do with College provided cell phones to its employees. First, this policy provides a clear framework and guidance for the appropriate use of College funds as it relates to cell phone use for business purposes.  Secondly, it addresses any taxability issues surrounding personal use of College provided cell phones.

Athletic Training Major, Katrina Marshall is the recipient of an Eastern Athletic Trainers' Association Scholarship Award. The Schloarship Award and plaque will presented at the Annual Awards Banquet, Saturday, January 10, 2010 at 6:30 PM in conjunction with the EATA's Annual Meeting at the Boston Marriott Copley Place.

Three Athletic Training Majors; Jackie Harpham, Caitlin McFadden, and Carolyn Dartt have recently been awarded New York State Athletic Trainers' Association undergraduate scholarships. They will receive their monetary awards and plaques at the 2010 EATA Convention & Symposium in Boston, MA on the weekend of Jan. 16-17th.

Congratulations to our AT students on their achievements!!!

 

The FALL 2009 Semester Used Textbook Buyback will start Monday, December, 14th and end Friday, December 18th, 2009.

Just a reminder that you are cordially invited to attend a reception to celebrate the accomplishments of our December 2009 graduates on Sunday, December 13th from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Emerson Suites of Phillips Hall (Campus Center). This reception will give you an opportunity to interact with graduates, their families, and other College representatives. President Tom Rochon will be there to address our graduates and guests, there will be remarks by Kylie Burnside, Senior Class President, Linda Gasser, Assistant Professor of Management, Keynote Speaker, and Gretchen Van Valen, Director of Alumni Relations, will welcome the graduates as new alums. Hors d’oeuvres will be available.  I hope to see you there.

John A. Krout, director of the Gerontology Institute (DIIS), is an invited speaker at the 2009 Positive Aging Conference being held at Eckerd College. Eckerd College has partnered with AARP to host the conference that will bring together prominent thought leaders on national and international issues vital to the senior population.
