(78 words) John Scott and Karen Rodriguez’s Short Documentary Selected by Festivals and Literary JournalContributed by Karen Armstrong on 10/25/09 Notes On Liberty, a new short documentary directed by John Scott and produced by Karen Rodriguez, will screen as a part of Ad Hoc: Inconvenient Films 2009. This human rights festival travels to three cities in Lithuania in late October and early November. It will also screen in mid-November at the 2009 Cucalorus Annual Festival of Independent Film in Wilmington, NC. And, Blackbird, an online journal of literature and the arts has selected it for its inaugural video essay feature slated for its spring edition. Students who are planning to take the MCAT this year should begin planning for registering. The registration will open sometime on Nov. 2. For more information on test dates, locations, and registration guidelines check their web site. Seating can be limited at some testing centers and dates, so we highly recommend signing up early. That way you are more likely to be able to go to a relatively nearby testing site on the day you choose. AES Announces New Hours of Operation Effective Monday, 10/26/09Contributed by Yolanda Clarke on 10/25/09 An analysis of student use of services indicate a need for a later opening. Hours of high use have been between 12 noon and 9pm with few student visits prior to 11am. Beginning today, the office will abide by the following schedule during the academic year. Monday thru Thursday: 10am - 12 midnight Fridays: 10am - 4pm Please make note of these changes and remember our new hours of operation!!! |
