Poetry Readings at Longview

On Sunday, August 30, 3:00-4:00 p.m., the Ithaca College Gerontology Institute's Linden Center for Creativity and Aging will host a reception in the Longview auditorium, 1 Bella Vista Drive, to honor the winners of their "In Honor of Our Elders" New York State high school poetry contest.

Now that the academic year has begun, we are in the process of convening a number of our Student Affairs and Campus Life committees which are dedicated to addressing some very specific needs of the Ithaca College community. In order to better address these needs by working through a representative body of the community, we are once again attempting to gain faculty, staff, and student participation on each of these groups.

Free services are available through the Office of Academic Enrichment Services, located in  110-117C Towers Concourse. Drop by the office and complete an intake form (tutor request form) starting Monday, August 31, 2009. 

We open at 8:30am and close at 5:30pm, Monday thru Friday each week. Starting Wednesday, 9/2/09, we will open from 6:30pm - 12 midnight every Monday thru Thursday, and 8pm-12midnight on Sundays.  Quiet study and tutoring space is available.  (This schedule applies to days when classes are in session only.)

The Assisting Students at Risk initiative, introduced to campus last year, is designed to simplify the reporting of concerns, emphasize the need for early intervention with students, and strengthen campus-wide responsiveness to mental health and safety needs.
